PRAYER CONCERNS and FAMILY NEWS

Our love & sympathy is extended to Kevin & Candace Moore and their family on the passing of Candace's mother, Virginia Kasparek, this past Wednesday in Oklahoma. We understand the funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 29, in McAlester, OK at the Northtown Church of Christ. Please keep Kevin & Candace in your prayers also as they have been in Florida with Kevin's mother and will be traveling to Oklahoma to be with their family.

Please keep Jennifer Ford in your prayers as she had to have emergency surgery last Wednesday.  She is now home and recovering, but is still in a lot of pain.

Please keep Collette Serrato in your prayers as she is struggling with some health issues.  Please pray for complete healing.

UPDATE email from Daniel Stagg (4/17/08):
My surgery will be held next Thursday (4/24/08) between 1-2 and they will be removing the cancer from my neck again.  After talking to my doctors they don’t believe that we need to do anything about the two bigger spots in my lungs or the many tiny spots that they found this time around.  It seems that they shouldn’t really be of concern and will probably be there unless they cause problems or grow bigger.  After surgery we will be doing some more radiation on my neck (unknown how much at this point) as well as doing the radioactive Iodine again.  May GOD bless all of you, Daniel Stagg

Update from Brandon Turner (4/21/08):

CHURCH OF CHRIST MEMORIAL GARDEN
You may recall that in 2005 the Littleton church made arrangements with Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary to develop and provide a unique burial garden for members of the Church of Christ. That garden has been opened and borders our property to the west. You will see a stone pathway and cross marking the location of the garden. Future plans include further beautification of the area. More than 50 spaces have been selected by Littleton members at a savings of over 25%, including savings on all services. However, this initial introductory savings offer will expire June 1, 2008. After that time the savings will be reduced to 15% (this rate will apply to any of their nation-wide facilities). If you have intended to reserve space in our memorial garden at the initial savings rate, you need to do so before June 1st.

Also, Olinger has offered to conduct a "Planning Ahead" informational seminar for any of our members free of charge. If you are interested in such a seminar, please call the church office and let us know so we can arrange a time and place.

****The Mission Committee is asking all those individuals or groups in our congregation, who are planning to go on a mission trip, to please let us know all the details of when, where and what you will be doing on that trip. We plan to share that information with the rest of the congregation so that we, as your church family, can give you a prayerful and encouraging send-off.  Please note, this is for ANY mission trip, Littleton related or not, because we would like to be praying for you as you endeavor to teach others about Christ's Love.

FOOD & CLOTHING BANK:  We will be open again on Thursday, April 24, 6:30-8 PM.  Volunteers are always welcomed!

Special Note: The Clothing Room is in need of spring/summer clothing. Please bring your good, clean, used clothing to our clothing room at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your donations!
