COLORADO CHRISTIAN SERVICES: Our congregation has been asked to participate in the Colorado Christian Services 12th Annual Fundraising Campaign. The date for this year's campaign is Sunday, November 12, 2006. For the past 43 years, Colorado Christian Services has served women in crisis pregnancies and assisted Christian couples in building their families through the gift of adoption. The agency is sponsored by the Church of Christ and offers a peaceful alternative to abortion. Thank you and may God bless you for your support of the children and families of Colorado Christian Services. ATTENTION GENTLEMEN: The meeting that was held last Thursday to discuss an event for men was awesome! They had great input and fantastic fellowship but did not finalize the details. Another meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 16 at 7 PM, upstairs in the Young Professionals room. Mark your calendars and join us to plan this event! Former members, Tim Coburn and son, Kevin, will be returning to Littleton for the spring school semester and are looking for a place to live. Tim is the Assistant Dean of the College of business Administration at Abilene Christian University, and will be on sabbatical, teaching at the University of Denver for the winter and spring quarters. Kevin is going to attend Denver Christian Schools. Both are excited about being back in Littleton for this time. In terms of housing, they are looking for a furnished place... at a minimum, a two-bedroom apartment...as close to DU as possible. They are willing to rent, lease, or house-sit. If you know of anything, you can contact Tim directly at tim.coburn@coba.acu.edu or (325) 674-2206 (work) or (325) 672-3254 (home). They will be here roughly January 1 - June 1. Thanks! THANK YOU: |
